Our mission

To create space for stillness in an image-saturated world — and to return authorship of the image to the person in front of the lens.

For too long, to be photographed has meant to be interpreted: the photographer imposes a vision, the medium becomes a constant, and the self disappears behind someone else’s frame. We remove the intermediary. Here, you compose your own image, on your own terms.

The self-portrait is not an act of vanity, but of self investigation.

A global atelier where self-portraiture becomes the most honest form of visual culture — redefining who holds the camera, who owns the image, and what it means to be seen.

We believe collection should not belong only to those who can acquire it. Through creative collaborations, we make the artwork something you enter rather than something you buy : a fragment of another’s world, personalized and held in your hands.

Frequently asked questions

How many people can fit in a cabin?
Each of our cabins are designed to host maximum of 8 adults; some locations have cabins for maximum of 12 adults.
Can I bring my pets?
Our door is open for friends, families, colleagues, pets, etc.
Can I privatize the studio?
The booking system of the studio is still in consideration. But the Paris flagship is definitely meant to host events, expos, pop-ups. Other locations also welcome privatizations. Please contact info@capturism.com for further information.
Do you accept American Express cards?
Unfortunately, we only accept Visa, Mastercard, ApplePay, SamsungPay, WeChat Pay, AliPay, VPay, Maestro, CB & Electron at the moment.
How much does a session cost?
One photoshoot session is between 12 - 18 € (EU) depending on the customized setting. It includes 2 physical prints by default, digital version, and video footage of the photoshoot.
Do you take reservations?
Personal visits do not require reservations, but for corporate clients and privatization for events, please inquire at info@capturism.com.
What props are provided?
You are always welcome to bring your own for the shoot. We simply ask you to please be mindful of the next users at the studio.
Are there attire guidelines or a dress conduct policy for photo sessions?
At Capturism Studio, we embrace the freedom of expression, within the bounds of lawful practice. You are welcome to use our studios in any attire of choice. Private dressing rooms are available should you wish to change outfits during your session. Though, please remain mindful that our studios are public spaces and be respectful of others.
